After years of not doing any original artwork, especially of my partner DJ, I decided to finally draw something for his 40th to get back into the groove.  The piece is relatively simple - a chibi DJ as a Starfleet Captain but with a bigger beard.  The outfit itself is from the "Star Trek Picard" era of the series (though I can tell I got the communicator badge style wrong).   The head is a little too big and the pose is a bit boring, but alas it was my first piece after a long hiatus and its primary purpose was to be a rough outline for a full-colour version I would make later on.
